Egg and Cheese Toast:










Ingredients:

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup of grated cheese (cheddar or your favorite cheese)
  • Optional: additional spices such as paprika, herbs de Provence, or chili powder.

Instructions:

  1. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. 
  2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them together with a fork.
  3. Add butter to the skillet and let it melt.
  4. Dip both sides of the bread slices into the beaten eggs, making sure they are well coated.
  5. Place the bread slices in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the toast, and add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Optional: add additional spices for extra flavor.
  8. Place the skillet under the broiler for a minute or two to melt the cheese.
